    94 seville traction control

I had to disable the traction control for an emissions/smog check.
I was lucky enough to find a you tube video while at the inspection shop with directions on the disable process.

    Question 1
How do I turn the traction control back on.

    Question 2
Do I really need traction control in Southern Cali.

My Seville passed smog 124700 miles last major service 117000 everything from plugs/wires to PCV valve.

I will post the exact emission results on Monday for analysis and comments.

    How did you disable?
The only way I know on a '94 is pull the ABS fuse.
If that's what you did, put the fuse in & clear ABS codes.

They use a dyno for emissions check?
NY used a dyno years ago & cars without a traction button were exempt, just idle test.

Reverse what you did to disable it.

Do I really need traction control in Southern Cali.
    Probably not.

It goes back to normal after several ignition cycles.

Several usually means more than 2. So far after the disable T/C 2 ignition cycles. This car will sit for the weekend I'll report back next week if and when the T/C engages.

I'm no longer getting Traction Control Disabled message. I did not have to reset anything. An excellent video for diabling the system for the purpose of smog testing.
