    Damaged Frame!!!

I Live in PA and they require state inspections. So I took my car to get inspected today and I was told my Subframe is Bent right on the Driver side were the control arm meets and they wouldn't pass the car.

Is it fixable or is my car pretty much done for

WOW - when/how did that happen?

the sub-frame is also called cradle -
that's the thing that the engine/trans is bolted to -
than lifted into place and bolted onto the car - with 6 bolts -

so - YES - it is replaceable -
IF the replacement will line up with the 6 mounting points -

I would recommend checking with a bodyshop -

All I can think of is the previous owner hit a curb very hard, he could have possibly wreaked it but it has a clean title with no signs of air bag deployment or any other front end work, Ive owned it for 3 years and it passed every time until now so this damage must be getting worse

it takes a BIG whack to bend a cradle -
and is can't get any worse unless it gets whacked again -

    if it was me -
I would get it looked at by a body shop - then -
I would ask the inspection place for more information -

Is it just one of the "tabs" next to the control arm mounting/pivot points that's bent?

So what are they going to do? make you junk it?

    P.S.
Nice picture of a water buffalo's ass. I've been more familiar with the other end (they tend to attack rather than retreat).
