    Question Instrument Cluster Language

Hi, I just bought a 1998 Seville STS. The car was originally delivered to Japan and the instrument cluster reads in Japanese. Does anyone know how to reset the language in the cluster to English please? Thanks Guys, Cheers.

Learning Japanese would be cheaper than replacing the cluster. And what is the owner's manual written in?

    Re: Instrument Cluster Language

    i see two options

    1) send you cluster out for repair/reprogramming (might not be possible if there is a hardware difference in the japanese clusters)
    2) if you can't do that then get another cluster and have it programmed with the info from your cluster (both will need to be sent out together in this case)

since you're in Australia that makes things a bit difficult ... you might try contacting a Holden dealer and asking their parts guys where they send their clusters and radios for repair
if those places don't/won't work on your cluster then you'll have to ship to the US to one of the ESCs (electronic service centers) like SPECMO, ISS, United Radio, etc
