If you only replaced the HU, you still have the Bose amp. You'll need to use stock Bose speakers to replace yours.

The amp is mounted behind the bulkhead behind the rear seat back.

The battery is under the rear seat bottom cushion. The amp is behind the seat BACK cushion. It's accessed by removing the trunk lining, and then removing the plastic electronics "tray" behind it.

Re: Cadlillac Seville SLS 2002 Car Speakers

I think removing there's move involved in removing just the amp, most of it might need to be ripped out, on my ETC, each speaker has it's own amplifier (see the link above), not sure on the STS.

The entire system would have to be rewired, and all speakers replaced.

.....And you'd have to buy some fairly high end speakers and amps to match the stock sound quality.

Re: Cadlillac Seville SLS 2002 Car Speakers

sound like a lot of work this way how about if I use the Infinity's Reference line speakers would it work well with the bose amp would I still have to rewired entire system the reason I want to do this is because after I remove the factory HU and replace with the new aftermarket radio I notice the speakers were sounding lower and sometimes the sounds drop from the front speakers to the back ones just sounding back and front its driving me crazy
