    help! hesitation,bogging bucking problems continue.

no codes are present. everytime I replace something it runs great for a short while then it returns to the hesitation bogging off idle. I replaced spark plugs last week car ran great for about a week. changed wires car ran great problem came back. only thing I can think of is module and or injectors are bad. at startup in the morning I am getting a big cloud of smoke which smells like fuel. I am at wits end here.

FPR would be my first guess based on what you said.

    but why no code?
FPR is not an electrical device, thus it is not monitored.

but it would cause a misfire in one or more of the cylinders.

Anything is possible, but you can't tell until you diagnose each component.

Considering how easy it is to check the FPR to either eliminate or verify that as the problem, if Ranger suggested it, I'd try it. Here, look at the third post down and continue reading.

    Good luck.

took it to my friends mechanic that had some special computer with all the bells and whistles and they pinpointed it to an injector that was grounding out. how this is possible I have no clue but the car is running 1000 times better.

car is running like crap again. backfiring through the intake and missing even though it was put on a 5k computer that was saying everything was fine. no codes, no one seems to know what the problem is.

You could have low fuel volume/ pressure also.

Do a fuel pressure test. When was the last time you changed a fuel filter in that car?

If it has been running excessively rich for a long period of time, you could be moving into catalytic converter replacement territory.........
