I drove the car fine yesterday. Then went outside today to move it while on the way I was thinking man she looks good. I'm so glad I fixed her and kept her instead of selling it. Once I got inside I turned the key it just cranked and cranked, so i pulled codes and i get
P0231 Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit Low
I have already checked the fuse and relay there good. I checked the fuel rail by pressing on relief valve and no fuel came out so its bone dry. Then I turned the key to listen for the fuel pump and not a single noise from it.
My questions are: Does this definitely mean the fuel pump is toast? How does it just go like that? and can running low a lot in the past months fry it up?

Fuel pumps can die a slow lingering death, die instantly or in their sleep like your seems to have.
Fuel pumps are cooled by the fuel they are submerged in and the fuel run through them. Running them dry can kill them, but I don't think running them low can as the fuel pumped through it should cool it. That said, I don't recommend playing it that close and consider 1/4 tank empty.
The only reason I asked that one question was because recently ive been driving the car til it was ready to sputter. May that fuel pump rest in peace she was noisy but it was a good fuel pump. and yes rodnok01 there is power to it.
