    What could be the cause?

My car runs fine however, twice in the last 4 days after driving it, I park it and when I return it fails to start. No click, no interior lights, no nothing !! After I jumped it with my truck, it starts right up. The battery is new, so I wouldn't think that's the cause. I need to find out what's causing this for fear of being stranded. Any ideas from you guys?

Well if jumping it gets it started, it's obviously a voltage problem.

    Bad battery
    Charging system problem
    Electrical drain.

The age of your battery has nothing to do with the condition of that battery. Have the battery load tested.

what is the battery voltage with the key on - engine off -
what is the voltage with the engine running -

why did you replace the battery -

what brand of battery did you buy -

a brand new battery could be defective -

you need to have the battery "load-tested"
    and the alternator tested -

Other than what has already been mentioned: cable connections

Agree with Rodnok. You said your battery was new so its a decent possibility that the cables didn't make a good connection when you recently put them back on.
