    2000 Seville will not start

Today i was driving and my dash went black and none of the gages were moving speedometer nothing. I parked and turned the car off and turned it back on to see if the lights would come back on. The dash lights came on but it would not crank, and the raido, the heater, the windows, nor the locks will work while the key is in the start position. Key fob will not lock or unlock the doors. Tried to see if it was throwing any codes, but it doesn't connect to the ECM.

this weekend we did a tune up on it and had to change the coil due to a misfire in #6. Also changed the O2 sensors.

    any ideas?

    Thanks

How old is the battery and in what condition are ALL the battery cable terminals ? Did you disturb an engine-to-body ground cable ?

Nothing "works" with the key in START - only the starter/engine controls circuits. Even most of the DIC goes black.
