Dancing with Sandy :(
Good afternoon fellas, so unfortunately I had to take my caddy out during this awful storm we had here on the north east. A family member of mine got stuck on the highway and then his car got hit. The police told him stay in his car because no officers are available. So he called me stating his car was starting to take in water. While i was driving in pitch black darkness with the storm brewing i drove into a bed of water on route 17 south, and let me till you, i was horrified and thought the car would turn off. Luckily i backed out and found another route. However water entered the headlights and it wasn't exactly spring water What would suggest be the best way to clean/dry those assemblies? It's HID if it makes any difference.

What part of the north east do you live i'm in the d.c metro area we didn't get sandy as bad as NJ and NY. Man if the water was up to your head lights I hope it didn't damage anything .not sure about the lights though.

Re: Dancing with Sandy :(
Take em off the car and let them dry, rinse em out until clean first then maybe use compressed air to force the water out. Not sure how hard it is on your model to remove the light housings.
