    Sub, I have had a 2000, 2002, and 2003(2) STS and everyone had a leak from the oil pan/gaskets.

    Bummer. I must be lucky - not a drop or stain - anywhere on my car or the neighbor's SLS and DTS I work on occasionally. Not saying leaks can't happen - but they're not fleet-wide.

    You are a lucky man Sub, maybe it is lack of maintenance on part of the previous owenrs? I change my oil changed every 3k, and try to repair anything that comes up asap.

    No maintenance possible on seals and gaskets. Some will just fail sooner than others.

    My '03 is bone dry as was my '97. My daughters '04 is wet.
