94 SLS Rear Brake line Proportioning valve?

So far you folks in here have been a fantastic help with several issues that I have encountered with my car. Well my latest is this, I just found a great alignment shop were I live that did an excellent job aligning my front end after having a few issues. One new problem I asked them to look at but that I would try to fix is there is a leak somewhere in my brake system. After checking it all out they told me that it was occurring at the 'Proportioning Valve next to the drivers side corner of the gas tank in the brake line before it gets to the rear brakes. I have since gone to the GM parts site and found the part I think it is correctly called a pressure metering valve? Which they have for only $46.70. Would that be the part he is talking about? There is no image for it.

I went to my local Napa Wharehouse and they found the part but it says it is not available?!?!? Can someone help me out here? What is the part actually called, where can I get one? Or what can I do? I am going to check the GM parts.com site for it but I wanted to check in here in case there was a different way to deal with this.

Okay, it looks like it is a Proportioning Metering Valve part# 18018429. I found it on-line but I also found it for a few more dollars at my local Cadillac Dealership. So I am having them order one for me this afternoon and I will replace it unless anyone else in here has any inputs to add? Thanks!

That is it. Replaced on my old 92 Eldo and my Dads 99 Deville. Just be careful of the steel lines when you take it out. The road salt up here corroded the lines, I had to replace them all. Not a big deal, but a pia when the brake system is open and you have to run to the parts store...

There are no rear axels on these cars, they're front wheel drive.
