    STS Change Brake indicator

last week my '98 sts indicated that the brakes needed to be changed, so i proceeded through the routine of changing them.. however, after i changed them the change brake indicator still comes on after i start the car. I double checked everything, and everything seems fine. how might i go about re-setting this or getting it to stop displaying the message?

That message is turned on by the sensors located in one pad at each wheel. If the sensors are worn, or the connectors are not clean, you get the message. One or more of yours is triggering the message.

BTW, new ACDelco pad sets include new sensors; aftermarket pads do not.
