I just recently purchased a 1997 STS. The buttons for the trunk and gas, the air system, and the windows and sunroof doesn't work. Is there one main electrical problem that could affect all of these systems? I checked the fuses and the window circuit breaker.

Wrong forum. This one is for newer AWD/RWD STSs. You want the Seville forum farther down.Don't mess with Binky Bear!

Fat2 - Do you really think Koz is no more than a set of programmed responses?
Oh, you Behaviorists! I have free will.... Welcome Sidewinders!
Adrian - The systems you note aren't on a single fuse or something easy like that. They do suggest a fuseable-link in the body wiring harness may have given its life to protect all the affected components.
If these issues were disclosed by the seller, you must be an optimist. If not, you will soon learn why the seller was so motivated. Test the non-functioning components individually with a 12V current. If they are all OK, find a parts recycler (junkyard) near you. Salvage a body wiring harness.
