hey, have been having this problem for about two weeks now. At first the car would take five or six seconds to crank before it started. I went to the caddy dealership and they replaced the fuel rail with a steel one (which was free because it had a recall on its nylon fuel rail. After that, I replaced the fuel pressure regulator because the car started right up when it was cold, but took a while to start after it had set a while. Today, it won't start at all, it just cranks, so I know its not the starter. I got under the car and it looks fairly easy to take the fuel tank off, so it its the fuel pump, I'll do that, but I want to know for sure thats the problem before I drop 3 or 4 hundred bucks on a new pump and sending unit. Also, no codes other than the pc1599 history code, which just means a stall is detected. Any feedback would be great. Its a 96 eldorado base model by the way, Ive heard this is a fairly common problem. The fuel pressure regulator didn't work, so I'm wondering if this is the problem. -thanks
