Did you check the purge line for flow?
Is the water pump belt and tensioner/pulley in good shape, belt not slipping?
    Are you losing coolant?

    Purge line: check it

    Leaks of coolant: check, thoroughly

Block test: Just get one done

It stays cool on the move and only heats up while standing?
    Possible fan issue.

Yeah that is exactly what I was thinking, if it getting hot while standing then your fans are not working. Start with the most obvious things: FUSE. Pull your codes, you should have a code for it (I don't remember exactly what code but one should be ...fan control something).

Or maybe a condenser full of bugs?

That said, I'd still do a block test.

From what you're describing, it doesn't sound like the fans are working perfectly. Maybe they're only running at low speed.
What is the air temp where you live?

Really? You could take it up to 100MPH with a bad HG without a problem?
Usually it could idle for hours and overheat in 10-15 miles on the open road w/bad HG's.

Sound exactly like a car with non-functional cooling fans.

I missed the 100 mph comment. I never tried that. But mine will overheat at idle, but not while moving.
