Yes, one front, two side, one transmission to cradle. All good.

This is interesting. I remember Ranger and others chatting in a thread some time ago (2 yrs?) theoretically about solid supports helping the N*, so now I see what he meant.

    Neat. Nice customization Ranger.

Been there, done that. Did about a dozen last year. Manufacturing a quantity, packaging, shipping, keeping track of payments got to be a real PITA. I can't imagine doing it on a large scale.

Agreed, too much of a bother. But honestly, you cold have (should have) charged more for them.

Re: The 2000+ Seville side of Ranger's Rods

Hello! This is my first post to the forum. I'm waaaay late to this party, but I've got a 2003 Deville and really need Ranger's Rods. I'm sure I don't need to go into details about how SICK I am of replacing my front mount. I know Ranger said he's not making any more, but is ANYBODY out there making them? or an equivalent? You could pretty much name your price, I'll pay it. $$$$$$$!!! If Ranger can't, I don't really mind who makes them. They could be Steve's Rods...or Jason's Rods! Don't really care! Just need them desperately. Please. Any help appreciated.

Any shop with basic fabrication skills could make them. Materials and measurements are listed somewhere in the couple if threads on this subject.

I had a set of Ranger Rods on my Seville -
but I didn't like how much additional engine noise
was transmitted through the solid mounts - so -

    I took a slightly different approach -
    I used a turnbuckle - threaded rod -
and the rubber cushions from a set of sway bar links -

I'm going to try to create an album with pics -

Vincent, you should already have dog bones, unless I mis-understand your question.

Ranger - I may be interested in a set............ you may haveto go into mass production

This is NOT rocket science - given the staggering number of pictures and installs posted, anyone could go to Home Depot and pick up the necessary allthread, nuts, bolts, turnbuckles, standoffs - everything - for $40.

If you wanted to go whole hog, the Eldorado engine dogbones - and mounts - are still available. www.gmpartsgiant.com, 2000 Eldorado L37, engine, mounts.

I do have dog bones, and since my last post in this thread they're now brand new ones, only a year old installed by Tim Carroll when he replaced my engine, i check em every few weeks, so far the rubber bushing on them is in good condition.
