    Problem with 2000 STS

Car stalls ocasionally at low speed and sometimes when i first start it won't stay running and i have to drive with both feet when that happens. I am thinking crank position sensors ? Computer isn't throwing any codes related to it.

If the CKP sensors are original, they are overdue. I'm surprised they lasted this long if they are original.

    P.S.
They don't always throw a code when they fail for some odd reason.

If the car is stalling, you should be getting codes. Have you checked for codes, or just assuming there aren't any because the check engine light isn't on?

    Re: Problem with 2000 STS

My service record says that on my 00 Seville, the CKPs have been changed 4 times - once in 2001, once in 2002, and twice in 2003. Yes, originals (made in Mexico) almost 100% fails.

There was a revision on CKPS in late 2003, manufacturers have been changed from Siemens to Denso. They have less to none failure rates.
