Blown Head gasket Phoenix repair shop?

Have a 2000 Eldorado with a blown head gasket and I would Like to install Jakes Studs from Canada. I cannot find a shop here in Phoenix or surrounding area, Arizona that will do the job. Any one on this forum from here in the Valley that can direct me to a shop that has experience with the Northstar engine that does the heads and seals on the engine? Thanks for reading this and sure look forward to someone helping me out on here from the valley. Thanks again, Fred

    Hi there!

I have heard about "Cadi Shop" in phoenix. I myself have not been there, but couple of people from forum are going there and they seem to be satisfied. Search "cadi shop" in forum to findp the threads this shop was discussed, and then if you like send massage to the members to know more about it.

I guess this is the address:
    Cadi Shop
    2818 W Cactus Rd
    Phoenix, AZ 85029
    602-843-2234

By the way, I am not sure they are using Jakes Studs or not!

Thanks for the reply. I will search the other members and ask. I did read a review of the shop and they have a couple of complaint against them. One was a head gasket job that went wrong. Anyone else out in the Arizona HEAT that can suggest another shop? Thanks for all that read this thread.

The last time I shipped a car from Phoenix to Newport Beach it was $150. Norco is about an hour closer to Phoenix.

For those who still need the information, check Phoenix auto repair shops online. You'll find their complete details like the address, closing and opening time, and estimates on the cost of their repairs.

I know this post is old but where in Phoenix did you do the job?
How is it now? Most importantly how much did you spent for head gasket repair?

When I was living in Arizona, I called cadi shop for replacing my struts, and they asked $100 each corner, and that was the first and the last communication that I had with that shop!

In Mesa area, there is a shop that seems to be specialized in N*. I have no experience with this shop. Here is their website:
    http://arizonagm.com/
    http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/aos/2930581293.html
$1800 for N* HG job is an smoking deal!

Yeah, but timeserts.... those'll just fail again. You should ask if he'll use Norm's inserts (NS300L) (or studs, if they're available)

Timeserts don't necessarily fail. Especially if they are using the later coarse thread version.

Timeserts are all the same outer thread (even the bigsert with a different diameter, from what I can tell) - that's what makes them synchronized inserts.

Ben.gators is right on. Cory did my engine and here is his web site. His was 13 years with Caddy in Scottsdale and a Corvette specialist also. Has his own shop now. Send me a email Fastfred@cox.net with your phone # and will call you about Cory. I ordered the studs from the guy in Canada and Cory was impressed with them. I had other stuff added to replace while the engine was out, hoses, power steering pressure hose, engine mount, etc. He now does all my work on both cars and my business is right down the road. 7-Eleven on Broadway in Tempe. Its running great as of today. 100 percent recommended and if you contact Cory, tell him the 7-Eleven guy told you about him.

This is awesome; I've reached out to Cory to hopefully become my mechanic.

I personally feel that you treat your mechanic like a doctor...you find a specialist that is highly rated, knows his/her stuff in the area you have pain, gives you personal time and cares about you as much as you do....only about your car.

Hopefully me, my 04 deville and Cory will be a great big love triangle.
