    99 sls instrument panel

so my 99 sls is kinda trippin out a little bit... my gauges work fine but my diagnostics thing at the bottom doesn't light up anymore and neither does the heater/ac control. heater still works fine just the display isn't showing anything. instrument panel lights up too but not the thing at the bottom that shows me my errors and information... tried pulling fuses and they all seem to be fine

When the battery voltage (or what ever the IPC receives as battery voltage) is below 9.6V (? not sure about the exact value) the IPC command all VFD displays OFF as a protection measure. This means the IPC (the strip where you read the messages) the climate control and Radio displays will be off. Ensure the battery is OK, clean up the terminals, inspect the battery voltage wire on the IPC to be connected properly.

Ya this sucks cause your unable to pull codes but um put a trickle charge on your battery til its charged then pull the codes this sounds like an alternator or bad 12v connection like N* said , read the sticky on "how to pull codes" if you don't know how to already.
