1984/85 Biarritz Convertible color combos

I have not yet pulled the seat cushions or fuel tank to look for the GM build sheet on my 1985 Biarritz convertible. Car is white with white top, white leather, red dash and carpeting. Other white convertibles that I have seen have red leather with the white top. Which is more common or typical?

Run your VIN through the VIN/RPO converter linked in a "sticky" post at the top of the page. It not only lists all of the RPOs associated with your VIN, but the number of vehicles produced with each individual RPO.

My 1985 Eldorado Biarritz Convertible, produced 11/84, is not listed in the VIN/RPO converter or on the GM Owners' website. Any known sources to decode the complete GM options list on the build tag on the inside of the trunk lid?

The VIN for my 84 wasn't in that thing either.

I don't know why, but I thought all the white 1984 ASC cars came with red leather. In 85 there were more options available... Since you own a triple white car that means my memory isn't worth a crap!

Does your car have a 67 in the VIN?

Yes, 1G6EL6780FE_ _ _ _ _ _. White exterior and top, white leather seats, red dash, carpets, and factory mats. I will try decoding all of the options listed on the trunk lid GM sticker with the full GM RPO list elsewhere on the board.

I'm in Boise for a few days, I stopped in a classic car dealership (I couldn't resist) to see what they had. Sitting in the second row is a triple white 1984 triple white eldo convertible with black (or navy) dash and carpets and 67 in the VIN for $9,999. It's a confirmed sighting of another one with white leather. (There was also a black soot on the chrome around the tail pipe). Nice 60,000 mile car, but the black stuff on the chrome says there are issues.

The 67 means it's a factory convertible, not one of the custom jobs.
