Post Check engine light getting couple different codes

Happy Holidays! I have a 1993 Seville with the 4.9, check engine light recently came on and is bringing up some codes looking to fix it, but donít know where to start.
Po 52 (history) PCM Memory Reset
Po98 (history) High RPM P/N to D/R Shift under ISC
    Po12 (history) No Distributor Signal
Po13 (history) Right Oxygen Sensor Not Ready
And then last but not least
Po46 (current) Right to Left Bank Fueling Difference
I recently had my transmission rebuilt about 3000 miles ago and from first to second under mild acceleration it hits pretty hard I hoping that the po98 code is not from this it is still under warranty, thatís not the problem its all the other codes, want to fix the problem just donít know where to start if you guys could help it would be much appreciated Thank you

The PO46 will come back, left to right imbalance usually means a vacuum leak on one bank causing it to be lean. Now you need the factory manual to diagnose the code. Too many possibilities to give you a proper diagnosis thru this forum.

In regards to the harsh shifting it may be as simple as a faulty vacumn connection at the modulator. A few years ago my 88 Eldo had the same problem (hard shifting from 1st to 2nd gear) I took it to the transmission shop for a free inspection. A few hours later I got a call telling me the problem was internal and it would cost $650 just to take the trans out and inspect it, I didn't have the funds so I picked it up. I read about the modulator in the Haynes manual and sure enough when I checked it the rubber vacumn line it was dried up and cracked.

I put a new piece on totally convinced it was not going to help, and it actually fixed the problem immediately!! I never had the problem again for the rest of the time I owned the car and that was over two more years.

I learned through the helpful people on this forum that if the T connector where the heater hose(s) connect to doesn't have the restrictor inside you will not get much hot air. If it is aftermarket there is a good chance that it does not have the restrictor. This may or may not be your problem. Also make sure you have enough coolant in the system so it can reach your heater core... hope this helps!

Your oxygen sensor is bad according to P013.
Maybe fixing that will also take care of P046?

Re: Check engine light getting couple different codes

Each time you restart the computer reads the sensors. The light will come back once it sees the malfunction again. Type of fuel has no bearing. A Lean bank code will also set an Oxy sensor code. Determine the right to left bank imbalance first. the Oxy sensor code usually will go away. The codes do NOT tell you what to replace, they tell you what to diagnose. The heater problem should be entered as a different thread.
