Parts from Eldo 1994 to Seville STS 1999

    Hi guys,

My mechanic has a 1994 Eldo in his shop, its a totaled car and he is going to sell it to a junk yard. He told me he can give my STS 1999 any part from that eldo that I need. Eldo doesn't have engine or transmission, but other parts are there.

As I know from 1997 to 1998 there are a lot of changes in Seville, eldo. what do you guys think I can get from this eldo that fits y STS?

I have some problem with my brake booster, does 94 boster fits mine?

Also what about AC actuators and bend motors? (those little black stuffs)? I have a bad AC actuator in my driver side, does eldo such actuators to put in my car?

Also the ABS module of this eldo is working fine. Does it fit mine? (Mine is working well too, just for the case in future).

What about suspension system and parts?

    Thanks

He is referring to an Actuator Motor which controls the temp on either the drivers side or pass side, the other is a blend door which is ahead of the actuators. As for commonality, sorry to say that precious little will interchange. The actuators should as they did not change much, the sunroof controls if OEM should change out and all the light bulbs, take also the screws that hold every thing in, but other than that... It should be trial and error.

Two channels of air comes to cabin, one hot air, and second is cold air. there is an electronically controlled actuator which opens and closes some bends letting different amount of hot and cold air mix to produce the desired temperature set by driver in AC console. Some times actuator goes bad, causes the blend stuck at some point. The problem manifest itself by always having hot air, or cold air in your vent, whatever you do with your AC console!
This is a common problem that usually happens in such cars.

I'm going to rain on this HVAC door actuator situation parade.

The 1999 Seville uses DC motors to position the HVAC doors inside the cabin.

IF the 1994 Eldo uses vacuum HVAC door actuators, there is no way the parts can swap. And I'm 99% certain the 1994 Eldo used vacuum.

The windshield washer fluid might. As CaddyShack said, bulbs and screws. I parted a Camaro once and have a drawer fill of bolts and screws that came out of it. I dig in there pretty often and have found stuff I needed for the Cadillac, the Dodge and even the John Deere. If the 94 has a working power antenna I'd scam that just for the $50 you can get on eBay for it.
