Hello, I'm new to the forum. I bought a 2002 STS in March and I just love it. For the last week, I have been hearing a roaring sound come from the front driver's side. It starts when I hit about 20 mph. It does not do it when I am idiling. I was wondering if someone could help me figure out what it might be. I had someone it me in that same area about 4 months ago. The body shop fixed it up perfect, but I wonder if it is something they did.

Re: 2002 sts
Wheel bearings (unitized capsule), CV joint failing, Disc brake dust shield rubbing on inner side of disc. OR, check the lower plastic splash shield which runs under the radiator/grille from side to side. The thing needs 13 pop plastic removable retainers to hold it in place, and if they're not all there the damn thing vibrates like a drum.
