This was taken at approx. midnight on Ferry Rd in Warrenville, IL. Enjoy. Might want to lower the volume before the 20 sec. mark - just FYI.

Wow, 2nd gear squeak. Do you get that every time you go WOT from 1st to 2nd?
I do unless it's on pavement that has more grip. Gotta love that N* power. If you just leave it in D it won't do it. You have to select D2 and start off from a stop or near stop in 1st and stomp it.
Yeah, sorry about that. I'll remember to if I make another video like this. It was just a spur of the moment thing - the road was clear, no traffic for miles, coming off a bend to a two-mile boulevard straightaway . . . the music was a big part of that moment for me. I can tell you that, from my seat, the car sounded wonderful.
I'm sorry but, what exactly am I supposed to be seeing in this video?
This is a N* wide-open-throttle run being performed in a 1998 Cadillac ETC. You put the car in 2nd, release the brake, once it creeps you touch off and at second redline you ease off and let the engine braking bring you back to a reasonable speed.
Damn that seemed pretty quick. I got my car up to 129MPH before that pesky top speed fuel cut-off popped up on the display.
Not the top speed cutoff - that was the "Traction Enabled" message. Anytime you touch off like that and they spin, the car thinks you're heading for a ditch or something and tries to get it's grip.
