    check fuel gauge

    i got this massage after i changed my fuel pump when i changed it i got some fuel on the connectors could this be the couse. this massage hasnt showed up for a will now its been 3 days seens i got it and i only got it once never again. i got my fuel pump from the same model and year car from a junk yard for $130.00

    i have 1 more problem some time my car when i turn it on and warm it up when i put it in drive or reverse it pushes foward and stops and pushes foward and stops a machenic told me thats my idle control thing on the right top of engine how can i fix it ?

    The IAC (Idle Air Control) valve bleeds air into the throttlebody to control idle speed. In our series of engines the IAC tip (bleed hole) sometimes gets greasy/oily from PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) flow which cleans out the moisture and nasties from the crankcase. Look at the diagrams and carefully remove the IAC (2 screws) and clean it with an old toothbrush and choke cleaner spray.

    Go up to the top black bar ^^^ and read the entire Cadillac Technical Archive, then get into Northstar Performance down below. Tons of info....................

    can i use carborater cleaner to clean the IAC and if soo can i spray some in the hole were the iac attaches too ??
