I Have A 97 Eldorado ETC I Just Change The FPR I Thought It Would Fix The On Going Trouble For Months Now.Its A Intromittent Problem.I Start The Car And It Takes 2 Sec For It To Start A Little Slower Than Before Months Ago.Ok Here The Problem Start Down The Street At 10 20 MPH And tha Car Boggs Down Like A Fuel Starvtion. Then After Driving It About 20 Mins It Acts Nomal It Take Off Great.Now If It Were A Vacuum Problem It Would Stay Like This.I Put On A New Gas Filter,A New Delco FPR,And Still This Car Down This Intromittent.I Can Be On The Freeway The Car is Working Fine And Then The SEL Comes On And Car Slow Down To 45 MPH If A Push On The Pedel It Will Not Go Any Faster I Took In Cadillac Dealer Car Did Fine On Freeway For The Mechnic,Then I Got Of The Freeway Into 30Mins And Service Light Came On And And The Car Slow Down.I Wondering If I Spray The MAF To Clean It Well Solve The Problem.I Get No Codes At All.Its A Dangerous Problem I Dont Want To Get In A Wreak.Sorry About Writing A Book On This.I Just Need Help.

If the Service Engine Soon light is coming on then there is a code in there. Did you use the cars on board system to check the codes or did you use a scanner?

Don't mess with the MAF. As Krashed posted, pull your own DTC's and diagnose the fault. The car's built-in system will tell you what's wrong.

I would assume your fuel pump is getting close to retirement.

Fuel starvation!
The other thing I would look for is the ignition module, although that would be consistent at any speed any engine load.
The service engine light does come up with a code.
