On my 4.9L, the same message "Low Oil Pressure - Stop Engine" appears when the oil level drops a bit below the low line.....and is fixed by simply bringing the oil level back up to the proper level. The same is also true for my 4.9. I have a slow oil leak from the pan gasket so if I dont keep the level up or go a little too long between changes it gives the pressure error for whatever reason, resolved simply by adding a quart. The 4.9 oil capacity is less than the Northstar, so a quart matters more in the 4.9.
