looks to above the front pass tire.....
metel hose maby 1 " around......
will the auto part store stock this ??and what do I even ask 4??

The coolant crossover pipes? The auto parts store will not stock it, it's a dealer item.

Crossover is on the drivers side. I don't understand the question.

I think he is talking about the heater pipes that run along the rear of the motor.

if that is what your talking about I just had to order some they are dealer only parts and for my 99 DeVille the one that pipes into the surge tank was $56 and the other was $45 my dealer gives me a slight discount but that should give you a general idea.

Edit: I assumed this was a NorthStar. my bad... I'm not real privy to how the 4.X motors are set up but I think they have the same kind of pipes.

The '94 Eldo IS a Northstar. Just wait till you try changing those pipes.

Well I learned something new today. Thanks Ranger

I did them on my 99 DeVille I had to disconnect the rear motor mount as well as the front two dog bones, and tilt the motor forward.

Maybe I spoke too soon. I was thinking of a Seville, but I think the Eldo got the Northstar in '93 as well. If I'm wrong someone will correct me.

Ranger,the eldo. in 93 got both,the base 93 got the 4.9 and the true etc got the N*.

If we are talking about the heater pipes that run along the rear head, yes that's how you will have to do it. There's not much room back there. They really shoe horned these engines in.

Why do you think you need a heater core? Believe me you dont want to replace a heater core in these cars unless you ABSOLUTELY have too, its a real PITA.

no... core is fine...... its the 2 lines that go in and out of the core ,,, core is 100% ok.....
