99 STS Service Stability Sys randomly

Hello again,
My car is 1999 Seville STS
Car is on it's third Steering Wheel Position Sensor.
-I know this is talked about in other threads, but they all seem to be a little different than my problem, different codes anyway.

With original sensor and second sensor... stability would randomly engage sometimes.

Now, on 3rd steering wheel position sensor, a year later...car drives fine; but I keep getting "Service Stability Sys" message.

Codes that keep showing up are:
C1287 Steering Sensor Rate Malfunction
C1288 Steering Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Had it to the dealer twice and they can't get it to replicate the problem. Does me no good....

Does this sound like another bad steering sensor?
If not, what else should I look into?

Any suggestions or ideas? anyone? This has got me so frustraighted.
I can't get it to be consistant, so the dealer won't even fix it until it gives the "service" message to them.

The sensor(s) may not be the problem: You have a rate and circuit code set, so that's telling you that either connector(s) or wiring is at fault.
