for some reason the nav radio will not work on most Eldos idk why but it worked on my 97 before i bought my 03 STS and installed it into that
that said again search as its not a plug and play upgrade and even if you had a dev or 98+sev which the radio was made to work on it also requires extensive rewiring in order to make it function |

i can fab you up the harness
conversion all depends on prices of parts
the unit new from GM is 3-4k |

also would ut be better to install a aftermarket dvd nav, or that oem nav? |

If you mean install it as the HU, go with OEM. But if you're just looking to install a stand-alone DVD/NAV elsewhere in the car, I'd go with that. The trick is making it look good. I posted a picture of what I did with a Garmin GPS unit in my car. I'm about to post what I did this morning. Here's the link... http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...ng-look-4.html (Updating the 'Look')
CadillacSTS2003 knows his stuff, as far as I'm concerned. If you've got the money, skills and compatible system, I'd go with the HU NAV, definitely. |

it worked fine in mine but on another Eldo it wouldnt work and on N*s STS (same as eldo) he upgraded to the bose system (took him a lot of time and effort) and hes having problems installing the unit
i do guarantee the harness to be 100% fine and there are many people who have upgraded to the units with my help and love them |

I have pics of it hooked up and working that I can send you if you are interested. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
