i want to get an alpine 7" touch screen installed in my 99 cadillac eldorado with a bose system

what do i need to do to have it look almost "stock". like the same trim around it.

You will get more info down in Cadillac Technical Discussion; Audio, Security.

(Very good install shop - and don't forget that the Bose system is also part of the TheftLock security, so if you go splicing wires and cables, some of which carry serial computer commands and data logging, there's a very good chance of causing electrical nightmares.)

Based on your other post about door modifications, first do some reading and research in these Forums to find out what you're up against and what kind of car you have. Read the entire Cadillac Technical Archive up in the black bar ^^^.

i was planning on proly adding a viper system, would that solve the theft lock problem?

Our vehicles aren't like hondas or other lower end cars. They are very particular and in a way 'sensitive' to what is done to them. You can't just go out one day shopping for electronics and say, "Hey, that would look cool in my car- I think I'll buy it."
