Stuck/sticking brake/shifter interlock fix - Page 2

Mine is a DTS floor console installed in a DHS. I never hooked it up. Follow the orange lever on the right side. I think it will lead you to it. It's kind of hidden as I recall.

Thanks Ranger found it removed the wire, ps, for other dummies like me that may read this an try it, I would call the wire a cable

I think there is an interlock cable and a solenoid to activate it. The wire would go to the solenoid. If you disabled the cable, then yours is like mine. I don't have the cable and can shift out of park even with the engine off, no key in the ignition and no foot on the brake.

Mine is like yours now, I just want to be able to shift out of park so I am not going to worry about it too much, I am the only one that drives this car wife has the esv, if she drives the sls i doubt if she will even notice a difference
