SYstem Code My 02 STS threw me codes for "System Relay or Coil Circuit Open" (C1214)on the ABS)) and the fact that it turned the red dash light on(C1248).
Any ideas as to where the relays may be found? Re: SYstem Code Check the fuse box under the back seat. Re: SYstem Code No ABS relays listed in both the back seat box or the one under the hood.
Checked the fuses with all being in tact.
Are there sensors at the wheel I should look into? Re: SYstem Code That code refers to a relay that is inside the EBTCM.

It would also be worth the effort to inspect the EBTCM connector for corrosion or damaged wires and pins. Re: SYstem Code So if this relay is inside the EBTCM, then I may have to R&R the unit to fix?
I hit a pothole 2 weeks ago and the codes/lights came on; 2 days later they went out.
2 nights ago it came back on, maybe the jarring bump croaked the relay? Re: SYstem Code There is a wheel speed sensor in each of the 4 hubs, but that is not what is referred to.
