    A/C unit gone crazy

Well today I decided to install XM radio in the Caddy. I removed the radio head unit, installed the antena box, then reinstalled the radio. Got all the radio working good. we go for a drive and I notice there is heat blowing out the a/c vents on the drivers side. Checked the passenger side and the is freezing cold over there. So now when I turn the temp down to 60, it blows cold on the passenger side, but is hot on the drivers side!!!!! When I turn it to 90 it blows heat out the heater down low, which is right. What in the world could I have done to cause that????

I suspect you knocked the linkage off of the drivers side air mix door actuator.

Well if it is behind the radio, that is most likely what happened.

I'm not exactly sure where it is, but might be close. It sounds like the most logical explanation. I'd check that first.

Well I can"t find it. I have 1340, 1341, 1343, 1344 codes which are blend motors. They all go back to the control unit. I guess it went bad, I don't know what else. I guess I will have to take it to the dealership and find out.
