Fitting since she's White Diamond. And another B car, so that goes with Betty.
While we're on the subject of new cars, here's an old one. My sister recently joined Facebook and has been uploading pictures like crazy, including some going way back. So here's me (with hair) with the first car I bought. This was taken in late 1982 or early 1983:
1974 Toyota Celica. Drove it all through high school, college, and my first year out on my own. In the background, parked at the curb, is Nellie, the '64 Impala I grew up with and learned to drive in. |

Oh, and I agree, never EVER name a car Sam/Samantha. I'm 99% certain they are all EVIL.

Looks like 2002 was the year Cadillac dropped the ducks in the crest: my grille crest is different - no ducks and fewer leaves in the wreath.
Quote and post the fine print on the sticker on the radiator sight shield. Or take a good closeup and post it........
You can find the rivets (retainers) for the radiator sight shield at either a dealer or in the "Help!" blister pack section at a large parts house.
Get a 2" rubber pipe cap from Home Depot or Lowes and do the "butt plug" mod to get rid of the kidney-shaped resonator in the air intake. Makes filter changes simple and gives easy access to the transmission dipstick (dry sump, MUST be running in P, warm, to check). Replace the resonator Torx hold down bolt with a proper sized Philips machine screw. See below. Change to a higher flow WIX or NAPA Gold panel air filter - the existing cold air intake is more than adequate for the engine.
Order a strut tower brace, p/n 25653157, from a Cadillac dealer, $40. Tightens up the front end in turns and firms up the steering. R/H pic. |

Nothing like putting a American sedutress in your garage! Who knows you might get the Duke for no extra charge! |

Right now, I'm leaning more toward Sabrina than Blanche. If this were a White Diamond DeVille, I'd go with Blanche, since that's a bigger and more old-school Cadillac. The Seville is so sleek that I'm not sure if Blanche really fits.
I'll have to check with my 5-year-old niece and get her opinion. |
