Lay off kdseville, everybody likes their own cars for their own reasons, and if making his a replica of the STSi and doing a RWD conversion someday makes him happy, let him do it.

Back to the thread topic, with the extra power and new exhaust they put on the STSi, I wonder if they rerouted the front exhaust crossover... Thats something beneficial for all of us seville owners.

A 572 Big block chevy was thrown into a Deville and converted to rear wheel drive. You might not like the idea but Im really unique. That's why I had the STSi decals custom made for my car so I have the most unique Caddy in the US right now. How too make it more unique??? LS7!!!! And that is the BEST MOTOR!!!!! The LS7 motor (all LS series) are the best, most power full V8's out there for the price. It cost roughly 8k for an LS6 crate, figure another 5 years of me saving up and finishing school the LS7 will cost around that or less.

Dude, if your gonna put me down, call me a tard, and make fun off me cause you dont like what I'm doing then dont even post on this thread man. I know it's strange to do but answer this.....what would you say if you saw a 600+ hp LS7 Caddy SLS on the road????? That's what I'm going for.

Thanls to all that support and think this is crazy cuz YES!!!!! It is crazy!!!!! hahahahaha

    Happy MLK everyone!!!!!
I guess those decals make you really unique. Puh-leese. And yeah I know exactly what a project car is (a BMW 740iL with an twin turbo LS6 in it, that I helped with). Oh and that LS7 youre gonna wait 5 years on?? Good luck finding an LS7 crate then....theyre scarce now.... As for the 600+ HP SLS....good luck with that. Ill believe it when I see it in my rearview....trying to keep up with me.

    Re: STSi?

How about instead of trying to build an SLS that "runs with Porsche", just put that $30k you'll spend hacking up your car and just buy a used 996 911?

    Re: STSi?

There's a early '80's M5 around town with an LT1 in it. I can't imagine that the 350 weighs much more than that boat anchor of a straight 6cyl did. Starting with a well balanced RWD package is a good idea.

There's lots of old junk around wiith big Chevy motors stuffed in 'em.

    Re: STSi?

KD, I admire all the work you've done to your own SLS, but PLEASE tell me that you're eventually going to put similar 18" wheels and perhaps a corsa exhaust to complete your project? There are some chrome STS wheels on ebay (that are going on the newer STS models) that are absolutely spot on!

    Thanks!

I built the front bumper cover as the original! The one seen here is only a look alike. My car is not for sale and I value it at 40K. Friends can see details of my project at my site sts-car1 dot com. When typing just add the 3 Ws and replace the word dot by a dot.

    Enjoy,

    Armand.-

    Re: STSi?

It is real hard kick94sts! a real pain in the *%&&%

Mine took several weeks and I only did it because I was kinda desperate for that bumper...whew!!! just had to have it..LOL.

I can't do any other model, this is just for fun. I don't mind sharing copies since I made a very professional mold. I feel good if STS enthusiast want to use my bumper.

A bumper like that could cost over a thousand dollars but I'm not in it for the money! A few hundreds will be fine!

    Re: STSi?

SPreston2001 ...I will post a price on my website by tomorrow. I need to break down the production cost plus as an option I want to provide addtional fee in case friends want it painted.

You can provide your paint code and I will send it install-ready. Installation is very simple same as the original.

If shipping un-painted, the bumper comes out of the mold light gray or white and can ship in 2 days.

If you need the paint job just send me the paint code and allow 4 days for shipping...that's it.

Now let's build some mighty STS's....lol

    Armand.-
