when he said we all have money to throw around on these caddys i thought, what baout the ones who hardly make them oney, and still own a caddy, like me.
i paid $2300 on my eldorado, and as soon as i got it, put $1500 into repairs as in a alternator, new wire harness, window switch, fog light, and a tune up. i never complained once. even if the motor blew tomorrow, id go have it fixed no matter the cost and still drive it till it either a. wrecks or b. wrecks. will not seel it.
as for trading a sts on a beetle, got one question
do the chicks look at you the same way? |

Not bad for a 2 ton old mans car that runs 15 sec ET's
No one will ever convince me to by a car based on gas mileage. Unless I'm going to get 200 MPG, the petty savings it's worth giving up the luxury.

This thread is chock full of so much fail it's not even funny. An STS (Cadillac's best) to a Beetle (perhaps the most feminine car ever)??? WTF??? Hello...??!! What was the thought process there? Was there a thought process? What possessed you to get a Beetle? It had better have that 1.8T.
Oh, BTW, firm seats are comfortable.

Lets see, what would I rather take cross country... My CTS-V with firm seats, Corvette with not quite as firm seats or my wife's rolling living room/Cush bomb Olds Silo Premier Minivan?
Rolling living room wins! Maybe I could stuff a Beetle in the back as a spare. Nah, to gaay.
Question: How to make a Minivan more embarrassing?
Answer: Put a Beetle in the garage next to it. |

How could they sell a car knowing full well that it might fail someday!
