| Re: 99 seville cell phone link The cell phone and on-star systems through 2002 (I think)--definitely '99--used the old, never to be resurrected analog network. I rather doubt that it will interface with modern digital cell phones. Kind of a shame as I really like my big, old Motorola analog "car phone" set up for hands free operation. Nice big buttons for my big fingers and FAR less distracting than tiny new phones with their tiny buttons. I'm a naturally defensive driver but the level of such as become almost ridiculous in this hilly college town where 90 degree intersections are rare anywhere but the "old part", with a nearly random conglomeration of twisting roads and unpredictable turn lanes. Excepting rush hour, I greatly prefer driving in cities where there's at least some continuity to intersection design. |
