I had the car at idle. Temp stayed at 117. ( I solved the high coolant glitch?!)
No white smoke.... Whew! At least today..... As I'm trying to solve the gas-smoke glitch..... it went away???? Huh???
Now, I unplugged the ISC. It is ALWAYS against the throttle at idle. Screwed in the plunger/bolt. It NEVER gapped from the throttle. It just bottomed out. < What's up with this??>
Plugged it back in. ( car stayed at 117 degrees) Idle maybe a TAD lower, but at 900 to 1,100 rpm.
Now, since I had to have the airbox removed to gain access to the ISC plunger adjustment, I'll re-install the airbox and see what happens.
If no improvment, off to the parts store for an ISC Actuator or call Braisilton.
NOW... since the throttle is ALWAYS against the plunger at bottom (low idle)..And the idle is still up a bit ..What's the point getting another one, if it will bottom out also? ( I can't adjust any lower than bottom)
After then I'll tackle the possible glitch to the FPR.
New name for the car: Christine
Time for a cigar.....
