how many codes can this thing generate?

im beginning to think they should of fitted a printer to the sts,anyway here i go again.i get the general idear that it is a communications problem,and im leaning towards the rim.any idears would be welcome please

How old is your battery? Alot of times a battery on its way out will generate a ton of false codes.

sorry should have mentioned that the battery is less than four months old and has been recently tested.

If these are history codes erase them! Do you any driveability issues? if not, erase them anyway then recheck in 2 to 5 days for current codes. History and intermitants are a waste of time to pursue. Just replacing a battery can cause communication codes.
