Looking to buy a 91 STS with 55k Mi

Just looked at a mint condition 91 STS with 55k mi. This seems to be the little old lady story. Any suggestions to help me make sure its a deal?
I will be driving the car tomorrow but looked it all over today and I was impressed. The car was garaged and it shows. The body / paint is mint. the underside looks less than 5 years old. The engine is clean as is the interior, no stains or tears in the leather. The radio doesn't work well but the cd sounds good (Bose system).
If I had some idea of what to look for I think that the on board computer may be my best indicator of an issue.
The only repair that i can see is that the windshield will need to be replaced to get a sticker and that I believe will be around $250-300. The owner and I use the same mechanic so I will talk to him first.
They are asking $2600, my dad says buy it and my girlfriend says it wont bring me down in her eyes so tis almost a go.

From what I've heard, the '91 STS is an extremely rare car. I believe there are only 1800 or so made before the introduction of the '92. If so, I'd go for it. That isn't a bad price at all for the car. I've seen a few of that generation still going for $3500-$4000.

I don't know much about the 4.9, but from what I've read they are much more reliable engines than the Northstar. They also require premium fuel, but thats a small price to pay for such a nice car. Please post pics if you get it. Good luck.
