Unhappy Drivers side floor wet and dripping 97 STS

For some time I've been noticing water dripping on the garage floor from just behind the left front wheel (like ac condensate, only we haven't been using it) and didn't think too much about it. I've owned the car for about a year and it seemed normal. I was cleaning the rubberbacked floormat on the drivers side and found the carpet underneath was REAL WET. It has no chemical smell and appears clear as it drips. The car has no sunroof. Any Ideas ?? IT drips even on dry days ( I live in Oregon ) I have to get the carpet pulled back and dry it good.

I think that the only clear liquid that will drip from your car is A/C condensate. Your drain may be partially blocked/loose or drain pan pin-holed. The compressor will cycle occasionally (even with the controls off) to lubricate the seals to keep them from drying out. Frost will gather quickly on the evaporator without the blower fan running and melt after the lube cycle.
