1999 cadillac seville is blowing cold air on passenger side, but not on the driver side. Can anyone tell me what is wrong?

Re: A/C, Driver side warm, Pass side cold.

Common symptom of low refrigerant on a dual zone system, but not quite low enough to set a DTC or disable the compressor. Have it serviced. Just needs a top off.

Thanks for the info., I just got around to it a couple weeks ago. I had my uncle top it off, and now it works beautifully, it's cold. I think he said he added 3lbs. to the system, once he did it, the driver side kicked in with some cold air.

Re: A/C, Driver side warm, Pass side cold.

I had the exact same issue (-99 Seville STS), but for me the solution was a faulty driver side air mix door actuator. The strange thing was that there were no codes, altough a failed actuator is supposed to set one.

ADDED 3 lbs!? YIKES. I seem to recall the system only holds 2.
