(Actually "normally" for me would be foot to the floor), so how about if I were to be driving like I wasn't in any hurry. Can you hear it on the highway at a constant speed?
Good for you, though. |

I'm kinda sitting on the fence, here because I don't want the car to be loud if I'm just cruising to the grocery store with the wife in the car. I don't know what would be louder, the exhaust or the passenger seat. |

Shaggy, I've had mine for a year and 5 months. Two 1660 mile round trips to Florida. A quiet, rumbly idle that makes teenagers walk around to the back. A low moan on moderate acceleration. Dead quiet at any highway speed below 75. Put your foot in it and it will wake the dead, from off-idle to redline shift.
The whole thing is straight through: no baffles, no packing. Mandrel bent, and you can see a flashlight beam all the way from the cat to the tips. The mandrel bent piping in the muffler cans has resonance holes burned in various places, some round, some rectangular, and there's nothing in the mufflers but air.
Click on the pic and scroll in...................happy camper........and, you see the tips ?? They look just the same now. |

I'm curious about loss of low end torque from a too-free-a-breathing system... Our, '9' engines are pretty bad off the line as it is... And having come from one of the weaker, 'Y' engines in my first Northstar Caddy, it took some getting used to...
I do love a good exhaust though... I've got a Flowmaster Force II on my Corvette and would like to put a system on my new Seville... Having seen and heard the quality of Corsa on the Corvette side I'm tempted to get one as well, I just worry about low end drivability... | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
