That's a good question, but the CORSA has, in no way whatsoever, changed the low-midrange response of my car in the 17 months it has been installed. I was very careful to do (informal) back country top speed and acceleration tests, with Karen as timekeeper and CB operator, and no changes, before or after, were apparent. I can document a 0.5 mpg increase in highway (1660 miles, down and back) gas mileage to/from Florida, on 87 octane. .....and you oughtta hear the thing at 128 mph, steady, just under fuel cutoff. It sounds exactly like a car going past your seat on the tri-oval straight at Daytona.
HOWEVER, after last summer's lengthy discussions on aftermarket MAF's and throttlebodies, I shelled out just over $200 for an aftermarket MAF, which I discovered was a mechanically altered DELPHI OEM MAF. It made an instant adverse effect on low-end driveability (part and full-throttle stumble) and made absolutely no difference in the time from stop to 132 (GPS) mph, my limiter. It also cost the 0.5 mpg I gained above. The aftermarket MAF went back on the shelf. (The MAF was installed, a 4 minute job, after the CORSA, so the larger exhaust did more than just get the gas out faster initially, and the MAF countered that gain. Curious)
I reinstalled the aftermarket MAF 3 weeks ago, for no good reason other than I damn well felt like it, and had the same experience as before. The MAF is back on the shelf. I may put it up in the classifieds ^^^.

Of course it will have to wait until I find out what Uncle Sam is going to do to me this year... I sense great pain coming my way... Quote: |

| I do... I'm not much of a drinker, but as long as you don't mind me sitting next to you drinking tea or a soda, I'm game... I'd love to hear your system!!! I'm off for the next week so I might hit you up sometime soon... |

Did anyone remove the center muffler with a Corsa exhaust? |

to second-guessing the design engineers. The entire system is 100% straight through: no baffles, no packing, no screens, no cutesy
propellors, nothing but tuned straight pipe. Pull the front resonator and I'll bet the resulting 24/7 noise would run you out of the car.
If you cough up the bucks for a good exhaust, why try to get creative and butcher it ?? Let well enough alone, or, if you want "noise",
go to AutoZone and slap on a couple of ricer fart cans.
2003............Did your system come in 2 foam packed boxes ? How 'bout the color instructions.........You're gonna love it..........Sub |

i swear i feel a bit more power out of the corsa too but that could just be my mind.
the best part of the whole system, those tips, omfg those tips MAKE the system....
