So I've had my Cadillac for a while now, and gone through all the motions. Replaced every window motor regulator in the car, after seeing them all fail one by one. No biggy, found a set of 4 out of the same model that had gotten blasted in the front. Got'em cheap. Service theft system started showing, now I've heard a couple different theories on this, one being as easy as a lose wire.... input would be appreciated on this 1. Had the front left tweeter blow, replaced with Infinity Kappa 10.7 and am happier now than i was the the factory sound. Now I'm starting to run into a couple of other problems. My motor mounts are going, if not already gone. I'd really like to know where I can get a set of the re-designed ones with the heat shield for under $225 like the dealer wants. Also, passenger side drive axle (outer) boot has become loose and now spins, can I get this packed and re-sealed?? cheapest replacement (re-man'd OK)? Avg Labor cost to change out individual axle? Also brakes shudder a bit when braking, easiest way to fix this? just got rid of the dreaded 65-75 shimmy with a new set of Vogue tyres all road-forced balanced and began to notice these other problems.
