yeah, i'll be getting the J55's like you said. the 13" rotors i'm looking at on eBay are off of stang cobra's and vettes. Damn, i cant wait to have that kind of stopping power. EDIT: actually, now that i think about it, won't i need to match up the rotors with the 5x115 pattern of my hubs?
ok, the guys at nordstrom say that there wasn't a J55 package for the lucernes, but there was for the DTS- it is a heavy duty brake package. my main problem is getting the biggest rotors i can with that. there doesn't seem to be any 13-14 inch rotors that fit the 5x115 pattern. so now i'm more inclined to go with the JL9 package with the 12.75 rotors- since that's the biggest rotors i can get with that package, right? as for taking all brake components from the lucerne, wouldn't it be ideal to get some cross drilled/slotted rotors and a nice set of pads over the stock stuff? EDIT---- OR, would it be possible to get new hub/bearing assemblies that have the more common 5x114.5 pattern? would a set of hubs out there drop in and fit the axle? replacing all the hubs could be spendy, but then in the future you could buy new rotors more easily AND pretty much any wheels you wanted for your car...
