i am interested in buying a 95 -97 eldorado and i was curious what types maintenance needs to be done on them. I currently have dodge stealth and after 60 k on it it needs a $500 maintenacnce job ie water pump, timing belt , thermostat, etc.

does the caddy have something like that. what kind of prices do people pay for repairs like alternator, water pump , thermostat, master cylinder, anything.

There's no BIG MONEY scheduled maint required on them although I HAVE heard of some rapings during the 100K service.

It makes things easier if you do a lot yourself. Most of the 100k service can be done at home with ordinary tools. The northstar isnt too bad, once you get past the intimidation factor.

And there's 2 of them, and they DON'T have to be replaced at 100K miles.
