I found a lot of problems like u have described to be in one of the three postive cables/connectors at the battery

Thank you - I have indeed suspected the positive cables at one point.

My problem has still not returned yet, but I'll try replacing the positive cables when it does. Sounds like a junkyard part, as I believe they're pretty $$$
Thanks for your help!

^ I suspected my alternator as well. - Hell, I suspected everything possible at one point or another, LoL. Thanks for sharing, good information. Seems like dealers replace these for this problem often.

Well, everything is still ok with my car...! Woo-hoo! Kinda hafta worry though, ya know... We're getting ready for our yearly drive to Montana, for which I'd definitly perfer to drive my car, but with the possibility of the problem returning, looks like we're taking the wifes Altima, just in case (Boooo! which would you rather do 1000+ miles in, eh? Oh well...)

I still would love to know what the dealers solution to turboprop's car was...

Batterys good, looked for a loose ground , unsuccessful. I recently changed the coolant reservoir because it had a crack in it, could the leak of damaged something? Please help me........

Re: Help 98 Eldo light show

Before you spend any more money check the ground connections under the carpet on the side where your left foot would rest. There is a corresponding ground on the passenger side as well.
Here is a simple test: When the problem is occouring, open both front doors and see if it goes away. If you look at the schematic long enough you will see why this would indicate a ground problem.
