Where have you ever heard the remote called an ORB? I was trying to think of an acronym but I drew a blank, Sounds like something out of Stargate!

you must get a 1998-2001 which has the same driver number on the back as the one ruined fob others are different!
and idk how it got ruined in the pool, they are actually pretty water tight, ive swam with them as well as run them through the washing machine...
still work for me |

| Have you tried taking it apart and drying it out? Not much to it, all solid state as I recall. |

I have access to a tech 2, i just need to know if there is some addon for it to program the things. I am not the samartest with these things.
I plan on ebaying another FOB, as its cheaper for me to do that than get a new one.
All i know is that my fob went swimming with the keys, stayed there for around 5 mins as i was fishing it out with a net and hitting the jackass with the pool pole.
It wont respond with a new battery, doing its relearn thing (hold down lock and unlock for 7 secs).
The other issue is, that was the ONLY fob i have as fob1 was lost by the previous owner, and the alarm randomly goes off. I will have issues where i will stick my key in, and it will just go off ASAP i open the door if i dont use the fob.
Someone care to explain the factory alarm as well, and whats a way to disable the son of a bitch. |

I think PassKey should turn the alarm off with the key, but would not swear to it without reading the owners manual. i always use the FOB. |
